پهول phūl फुल्ल S̱. s. m. 1. A flower, a blossom; boss, stud, bunch of ribands, &c. a cockade. 2. The menses, of which children are the fruit. 3. A swelling. 4. Bones of a dead person after the fleshy parts are burned. 5. Lights or fire (seen at night). 6. (in the plur.) A ceremony performed in honour of a deceased person on the third day after his death. پهول اٿهنا phūl uṭhnā, v. n. To be performed (a ceremony in honour of the dead), to complete the forty days of mourning. پهول پڙنا phūl paṛnā, v. n. To break out (a fire). پهول بيٿهنا phūl baiṭhnā, v. n. پهولنا phūlnā फुल्लन S̱. v. n. 1. To blossom, to blow, to flower. 2. To be pleased, to be in health and spirits, i. e. to bloom, to flourish. 3. To swell, to be inflated, to be puffed up (with pride, &c.).

پهولي phūlī S̱. (फुल्ल Flower) s. f. A disorder in the eye, the albugo.

پهونک phūnk S̱. (from پهونکنا) s. f. Act of blowing, a puff, a blast, blowing up (fire, &c.). پهونک پهونک کي پانودهرنا phūnk-phūnk-ke pāṅw dharnā, To act or walk carefully and cautiously. پهونک دينا phūnk denā, To set on fire.
