اپاڙنا upāṛnā S̱. (उत्पाटन from उत् and r. पट Go) v. a. To root up, to extirpate, to eradicate. S̱. اپاس (contract. of اپواس उपवास q. v.) upās, s. m. A fast, fasting.

اپرپاٿي अ and परिपाटी Order, method a-paripāṭī S. s. f. Deviation from established cus- tom.

بٿ پاڙ baṭ-pāṛ S̱. (باٿ Road, and پاڙنا To throw down) s. m. Highwayman, footpad, villain, cut-throat, assassin. S̱.H. بٿ پاڙي baṭ-pāṛ-ī, s. f. Highway-robbery. A. H. بٿخ baṭṭaḵẖ, s. f. See بطک bat̤-ak.

دهپاڙ dhapāṛ H s. Running, race.

زپاٿا zapāṭā H s. (dakh. i. q. آوازپر) Sound of a wing (?).

سواپاٿي sūʼā-pāṭī S̱. s. f. A game among chil- dren.

سپاٿا sapāṭā H s. m. (dakh.) Spring, bound: see زغند zag̠ẖand.

طپان t̤apāṅ P part. act. (of طپيدن) Palpitating, flouncing, agitated.

لپاٿي lapāṭī H s. f. Lying, tattling.

لپاٿيا lapāṭiyā A s. m. A tattler, a liar.

نپاٿنا nipāṭnā H v. a. See نپٿانا nipṭānā.

پانس pāṅs H s. m. Manure, a dunghil. پانس هوجانا pāṅs hojānā, 1. To rot. 2. To become mellow (land).

پانسا pāṅsā S̱. s. m. A die. See پاسا.

پانسنا pāṅsnā H v. a. To manure, to dung.

پانو pāṅw S̱. (Sans. पाद Pers. پا) s. m. Leg, foot. پانواترنا pāṅw-utarnā, To be dislocated (the foot). پانواٿهاناياچلاتا pāṅw-uṭhānā or -chalānā, To go quickly. پانواڙانا pāṅw-uṛānā, To in- terfere unprofitably in any oneʼs affairs. پانوبڙهانا pāṅw baṛhānā, 1. To take the lead among oneʼs equals. 2. To desist from oneʼs former courses. پانوبهرجانا pāṅw bhar jānā, Numbness of the feet, sleeping of the feet. پانوپانو pāṅw pāṅw, or پانون پانون pāṅoṅ pāṅoṅ, adj. A foot. پانوپرپانورکهنا pāṅw par pāṅw rakhnā, 1. To imitate or adopt the conduct of another, to walk in the steps of another. 2. To sit at ease, to sit cross legged. پانوپڙنا pāṅw paṛnā, To entreat submissively. پانوپکڙنا pāṅw pa- kaṛnā, 1. To beseech submissively. 2. To prevent one from going. پانوپوجنا pāṅw pūjnā, 1. To honour another. 2. To avoid another.
