انياي अन्याय a-nyāʼe S or a-nyāya, s. m. Injus- tice, impropriety, outrage. S. انيابي अन्यायी (from انياي अन्याय q. v.) a-nyāyī, adj. Unjust, oppressive, lawless.

نياي nyāʼe S̱. or niyāʼe (न्याय) s. m. 1. Justice, equity. 2. Reason, argument, disputation, so- phistry, logick. نياي شاستر nyāʼe-shāstr, s. m. Logick. نياي کرنا nyāʼe karnā, To judge, ad- minister justice, decide.

نياٴي nyāʼī न्यायी S̱. s. m. 1. A distributor of justice. 2. A logician.

پنياٴي punyāʼī S̱. (from पुण्य) s. f. 1. A vir- tuous action, performed (according to those who hold the doctrine of the metempsychosis) in one state of existence, the reward of which is received in a future transmigration. 2. Merit of an ancestor rewarded in his descendants.
