آب یخني āb-i-yaḵẖnī P Water in which meat has been boiled down, gravy.

آسني āsanī S̱. s. f. A small carpet, &c. on which Hindūs sit at prayer. See آسن आसन.

آمدني āmdanī P (from آمدن To come) s. f. 1. Coming, arrival. 2. Import, income, revenue, ways. 3. The season in which any merchan- dise generally arrives. 4. Perquisites, any thing gained over and above.

آناکاتي ānākānī S̱. (अनाकर्णन from अन् and r. आकर्ण Listen to) s. f. Turning a deaf ear, overlooking, winking at, purposely neglecting.

آکاس نیم ākās-nīm S̱. s. m. A plant growing on the nīm trees. (A kind of Epidendron).

ابدهوتمني abdhūtnī S̱. s. f. (अवधुत) One devoted to God but not attending on ceremonies; a kind of Hindū devotee who worships Siva.

ابسواسني a-biswās-inī S̱. f. (अविश्वासिनी)

ابنیت abinīt S̱. (अ and विनीत Modest) adj. Wanton, pert, petulant.

اداني adānī A adj. plur. (of دني danī) Mean, contemptible (people).

ادهني अधनी a-dhanī S adj. Poor, indigent.

اذبکني uẕbak-anī H s. f. A female Uẕbak.

اردابیگني urdābeganī H s. f. A female armed at- tendant in the ḥaram.

ارني arnī S̱. (see ارنا) s. f. A female wild buffalo.
