اتمان ātmāṅ S̱. s. f. The soul: see آتما ātmā. آنا آتمان ānā ātmāṅ (for अनात्मा) The reverse of soul. S. آتمج आत्मज (आतमन् Self, body, and ज Born, from r. जन Be produced) ātmaj, s. m. A son. S̱. اتن (अ and तनु Body, q. d. Incorporeal) atan, n. prop. Kāmdeʼo, the god of love among the Hindūs.

بکهمان bikh-māṅ S̱. s. m. Name of a medicine or poison.

حماقت ḥimāḳat A (more correctly ḥamāḳat, from حمق) s. f. Folly, stupidity.

سماحت samāḥat A (from سمح) s. f. Beneficence, liberality.

سماق sumāḳ A (prop. summāḳ) s. m. 1. Sumach (Rhus coriaria). 2. Porphyry, the hardest species of marble.

سمان samāṅ S̱. s. m. Time, season, state, condi- tion, &c. See s̱. سما samā.

سورمان sūrmāṅ S̱. (from शूर) adj. Bold, brave.

شاماخ shāmāḵẖ P s. m. See sign. 2. of شاما.

ما خڙا māḵẖaṛā H adj. Stupid, foolish. See ماچه خر mācha-ḵẖar.

ماخذ māḵẖaẕ A (noun of place from اخذ) s. m. The place of receipt, the source or what any thing is taken from.

ماخوذ māḵẖūẕ A (part. pass. of اخذ) adj. Taken, received, seized.

ماخوليا māḵẖūliyā G. (Gr. melagxoli/a) s. m. Madness, insanity, melancholy.
