تخلص taḵẖalluṣ A (inf. v. of خلص) s. m. The titular name assumed by poets; as, Saudā was the taḵẖallūṣ of Mirzā Muhammad Rafīﻌ.

تعلق taʼaﻌlluḳ A (inf. v. of علق) s. m. 1. Rela- tionship. 2. Connexion, concern, dependance, property, possession, appertaining. 3. Consideration, reflection. 4. Commerce, correspondence. 5. A manor, lordship. تعلقدار taʼaﻌlluḳ-dār, A landholder. تعلق رکهنا taʼaﻌlluḳ-rakhnā, To appertain, to belong, to depend.

تعلقات taʼaﻌlluḳāt A s. plur. of تعلق q. v. تعلقات دنيوي taʼaﻌlluḳāt-i-dunyavī, Wordly concerns.

تعلقه taʼaﻌlluḳa A (see تعلق) s. m. 1. Connexion, relationship. 2. Possession of land, fee, manor, lordship. تعلقه دار taʼaﻌlluḳa-dār, Possessor of an estate, a lord of a manor, landlord, feoffee.

تملق tamalluḳ A (inf. v. of ملق) s. m. Cajoling, caressing, flattery, dalliance, adulation, cere- mony. تملق کرنا tamalluḳ karnā, To cajole, flatter, caress.

لقمان luḳmān A n. prop. A famous eastern fa- bulist (supposed to be the same as Ӕsop).

لقمه luḳma A s. m. A morsel, a mouthful.

لقندرا luḳandrā H s. m. A rake, a profligate.

لٿا لٿا کر مارنا luṭā luṭā kar mārnā S̱. To beat se- verely.

لٿانا luṭānā S̱. v. a. 1. (causal of لوٿنا lūṭnā) To squander, to spend or expend, to cause to plun- der or be plundered. 2. (causal of لوٿنا loṭnā) To cause to wallow or roll about.

لٿس luṭas S̱. (r. लुट Plunder) s. f. Plundering, ruin, devastation.

لٿنا luṭnā S̱. (r. लुट Plunder) v. n. To be plun- dered, to be squandered.

لٿوانا luṭwānā S̱. (caus. of لوٿنا) v. a. To cause to be plundered.

لٿيا luṭiyā H (dimin. of لوٿا) s. f. A small pot.

لٿيرا luṭerā S̱. (r. लुट see لوٿنا lūṭnā) s. m. A squanderer, a prodigal, spendthrift, plunderer.
