الگ a-lag S̱. (अ and लग्न Joined) adj. Sepa- rate, apart, distinct, loose, aloof, aside, asunder. الگ الگ alag alag, adv. Separately. الگ تهلگ alag thalag, Apart.

بلگ bilag विलग्न S̱. 1. adj. Separate. 2. s. m. Separation, disunion, difference. بلگ ماننا bilag mānnā, v. n. To be displeased, to be angry or offended.

بلگنا bilagnā S̱. (वि and r. लग Come in contact) v. n. To separate, be separated; to curdle, to turn (as milk).

جولگ jau-lag S̱. adv. Until, as long as. S̱. جون 1. jaun (for यःयद् &c.) pron. rel. Who, what, which: see جو jo. 2. joṅ or jauṅ (for यथा or यदा) adv. A louse. جون منـﮩ‍ا jūṅ-muṅh- ā, adj. Smooth-faced, hypocritical. (lit. Small- mouthed). 2. jūn or jaun, s. m. Time.

سالگرام शालग्राम sālagrām S s. m. A flinty stone, containing the impression of one or more ammonites, conceived by the Hindūs to represent Vish̤ṇu.

سلگ salag S̱. (perhaps, from संलग्न) s. (dakh.) Friendship, familiarity.

سلگنا sulagnā S̱. or silagnā (संलग्न) v. n. 1. To light, to be kindled, to be inflamed. 2. To burn without smoke or flame.

شامي لگانا shāmī lagānā S̱. (शंव The iron head of a pestle. See s̱. سامي) To shoe with iron.
