اخلاص iḵẖlāṣ A (inf. iv. of خلوص) s. m. Since- rity, affection, friendship, love. اخلاص کرنا یا رکهنا iḵẖlāṣ karnā or rakhnā, To esteem, &c., to be sincere. A.P. اخلاصمند iḵẖlāṣ-mand, adj. Sincere, friendly, affectionate; a friend. A.P. اخلاصمندي iḵẖlāṣ-mand-ī, s. f. Sincerity.

استخلاص istiḵẖlāṣ A (inf. x. of خلص Heb. Was free, separated) s. m. Seeking to liberate; liberation, liberty, freedom.

بهلاٿ bhulāṭ S̱. (see بهولنا) s. Forgetfulness.

خلاص ḵẖalāṣ A (from خلص Heb. ) s. m. De- liverance, liberation; used adjectively, Free, liberated, redeemed, done, out. خلاص کرنا ḵẖa- lāṣ karnā, To release, liberate, free, discharge. خلاص هونا ḵẖalāṣ honā, 1. To be freed or set at liberty, to be released or discharged, to emit. 2. To calve, to be brought to bed. 3. Emissio seminis, semen emittere.

خلاصه ḵẖulāṣa A (from خلص) 1. s. m. Essence, the best part of any thing, extract, quintessence, flower. 2. Abstract, abridgment, conclusion, inference, moral, sum. 3. adj. Spacious, roomy.

خلاصي ḵẖalāṣ-ī A. 1. s. f. Freedom, liberation, redemption, discharge, release. 2. s. m. A sailor, a native artillery-man.

دهنڐلاٿ dhaṅḍlāṭ H s. (dakh.) Coming and going without profit, assiduity.

سلسلاٿ salsalāṭ H s. f. (dakh.) Rankling.

لاٿ lāṭ H adj. Dirty (cloth soiled by keeping).

لاٿ lāṭ S̱. s. f. An obelisk, a pillar. See لاٿهہ.

لاٿا lāṭā H s. m. A kind of food eaten by the poor (mahūʼā pounded with grain).

لاٿهي lāṭhī यष्टि S̱. s. f. A staff, club, stick, crutch. لاٿهي پاٿهي lāṭhī pāṭhī, Beating with sticks, a club or stick.

لاٿهہ lāṭh S̱. (Sans. यष्टि) s. f. 1. A pillar, an obelisk, a club or staff. 2. The vertical part of an oil-mill.

لاڙ lāṛ S̱. (r. लड Sport) s. m. Lovingness, coaxing, caress, play, sport, playfulness of a child. لاڙلڙانا lāṛ laṛānā, To fondle (a child).
