اکرني a-karnī S̱. (अकरणीय i. e. अ and करणीय Fit to be done) adj. Inconsistent, indecent, unsuitable, not to be done.

اکچهت راج کرنا ik-chhat rāj karnā S̱. To hold uni- versal dominion. S̱.P. اکدم ik-dam, One moment.

اگوني کرنا agaunī karnā S̱. v. a. To advance to meet the bridegroom, to go to meet a visitant on the road.

تون تان کرنا tūṅ tāṅ karnā S̱. To dispute, to wran- gle, to abuse.

تکهرا کرنا tikhrā karnā S̱. v. a. To trifallow, to plough three times.

دولمال کرنا dolmāl karnā दोलायमान S̱. v. a. To wave, to swing, to undulate, to hesitate.

عش عش کرنا aﻌsh aﻌsh karnā A.S̱. To rejoice, to be greatly pleased or contented.

فروگذاشت کرنا faro-guẕāsht karnā P To omit, to except, to neglect, to fail.

قايزه کرنا ḳāʼịza karnā A. S̱. v. a. To tie up a horseʼs head by passing the bridle to his tail, to prevent his biting, &c. while rubbing down.

لمبيان کرنا lambiyāṅ karnā S̱. v. a. To prance.

مکرنا mukarnā H (perhaps corrupt. of Arab. منکر) v. a. To deny.

نشا کرنا nishā-karnā P. S̱. (corrupt. of Pers. نشان) v. a. To be responsible; as يـﮩ کام تمهاري ذمي هي اگر بگڙيگا تو اسکا نشا تم کو کرنا هوگا yih kām tumhāre ẕimme hai, agar bigṛegā to iskā nishā tum ko karnā hogā, This affair is committed to your charge; should it be spoiled you must be responsible for it (or make it good).

نکرنا nikarnā S̱. v. n. To issue, &c. See نکلنا.

هون کرنا hūṅ karnā S̱. (हूम् or हुम् interj. of an- ger, fear, &c. or a mystical monosyllable, and करण making) To make the sound hūṅ, in an- ger, from fear, or as an incantation, &c.

چهونچلاکرنا chhonchlā karnā H v. a. To fondle.
