اتکل utkal S n. prop. A name of the province of Urīsā.

اٿکل aṭkal H s. f. Guess, conjecture, judgment, opinion, quantity, size. اٿکل باز aṭkal-bāz, adj. Adroit at guessing; an appraiser.

اٿکل پچو aṭkal-pachchū H s. m. One who guesses at a venture, or without grounds on which to judge. adv. At random.

اٿکلنا aṭkal-nā H (see اٿکل) v. a. To guess, to conjecture, to judge, to estimate, to think.

اکلنا ukalnā S̱. (उत् and r. कल Cast) v. n. To boil. S. اکلوني अकुलिनी (from अ and कुल Family) akulinī, adj. f. Not of good family, ignoble, base (woman).

بهنورکلي bhaṅwar kalī H s. f. A collar or halter (for a dog, goat, &c.). See بهونرکلي.

بهونرکلي bhauṅar kalī H s. f. A kind of halter (for horses or dogs). See بهنورکلي.

بهڙکل bhaṛkal H (dakh.) s. A great gate or door.

بکل bakkal S̱. (वल्कल) s. m. Bark, skin, rind, shell (of a fruit), husk.

بکل bikal S (वुकल) adj. Restless, uneasy, troubled. See بي کل under بي.

تکل tukkal H s. f. A kind of paper kite.

تکلف takalluf A (inf. v. of کلف) s. m. 1. Inconvenience, ceremony, trouble, taking much pains oneʼs self in any matter. 2. Extravagance, pro- fusion. 3. Preparation. (Plur. تکلفات takal- lufāt). تکلفات دربار takallufāt-i-darbār, Ex- pending much. تکلفات رسمي takallufāt-i-rasmī, Ceremonious attention, empty or formal com- pliments. تکلفات مجلس takallufāt-i-majlis, The ceremonies of society, etiquette. تکلف برطرف takalluf bar-t̤araf, Waving ceremony. تکلف کرنا takalluf karnā, To take pains, to be cere- monious (in). تکلف مزاج takalluf-mizāj, adj. Ceremonious.

تکلم takallum A (inf. v. of کلم) s. m. Conversa- tion.

خوبکلان ḵẖūbkalān P s. m. Name of a seed of a cooling quality.
