جهلا jhullā A. (see جهول jhūl, corrupt. of جل jull) s. m. A shirt or vest that covers the body from the shoulder downwards.

جهلانا jhulānā S̱. (caus. of جهولنا) v. a. 1. To swing, to shove a swing in which others are, to rock (a cradle). 2. To dangle, to hang. 3. To make another (as a dun) dance after one.

جهلس جانا jhulas jānā S̱. v. n. To be scorched or singed.

جهلس دينا jhulas denā S̱. v. a. To sear, to singe.

جهلسانا jhulsānā S̱. (causal of جهلسنا) v. a. To cause to singe, to singe, sear, scorch.

جهلسنا jhulasnā S̱. (from s. r. ज्वल Blaze, burn) v. n. To be singed, scorched or seared.
