اختیار iḵẖtiyār A (inf. viii. of خیر) s. m. Choice, will, option, election; authority, power. اختیار کرنا iḵẖtiyār karnā, To approve of, to adopt, to choose. اختیار مین هونا iḵẖtiyār meṅ honā, To be in the power of, or dependant on.

اختیاري iḵẖtiyār-i A 1. s. f. Approbation, choice; authority, power. 2. adj. In oneʼs power, sub- ject to election or choice, voluntary, at oneʼs disposal.
