اتهربن अथर्व्वन् atharban S or atharvan, s. m. Name of the fourth Veda.

بهربهانڐ bharbhānḍ H s. m. The name of a prickly poppy. (Argemone Mexicana).

بهربهرانا bharbharānā S̱. (r. भृ Fill) v. n. To swell and be glossy (particularly the face, as in fever).

بهربهري bharbharī S̱. (from بهربهرانا) s. f. A swelling, a sore.

شربت sharbat A (from شرب) s. m. 1. Sherbet, beverage, drink. 2. The dose of a medicine. شربت دار sharbat-dār, s. m. A servant who has the charge of the water, wine, &c. a butler.

شربتي sharbat-ī A. s. f. 1. A kind of lime, or le- mon. 2. Name of a colour. ¶ adj. Of or re- lating to sherbet.

چربرانا charbarānā H v. (dakh. i. q. چرب زباني کرنا) To speak smoothly or plausibly, to prac- tise plausibility (?).

چربي charb-ī P s. f. Fat, suet, grease. چربي دار charbī-dār, adj. Fat, not lean, greasy. چربي کي جهلي charbī kī jhillī, s. f. Caul.

کهرب खर्ब्ब kharb S adj. A million million, a billion.

کهربر kharbar H s. f. 1. Sound of a horseʼs feet in galloping. 2. See کهلبل khalbal.

گندهرب गन्धर्ब्ब gandharb S s. m. A celestial musician, a class of demi-gods who inhabit In- draʼs heaven, and form the orchestra at the banquets of the principal deities. گندهرب بياه gandharb-byāh, A kind of marriage. گندهرب گيت gandharb-gīt, A gandharb-song, a kind of song or singing.
