بهولابهٿکا bhūlā-bhaṭkā S̱. adj. Missing the road, (generally, a person) calling on another in consequence of some ac- cident, &c. not intentionally to pay a visit.

بهٿکا bhaṭkā H adj. Astray.

بهٿکانا bhaṭkānā H v. a. To mislead, bewilder, deceive, scare, cause to wander.

جهٿکا jhaṭkā H (from جهٿکنا) 1. part. Slaughtered by cutting off the head (in the Hindū way), bro- ken asunder or torn by a sudden jerk, torn to pieces. 2. s. m. A shake, a pull, a twitch. جهٿکا کرنا jhaṭkā karnā, v. a. (dakh.) 1. To steal, filch. 2. (i. q. جلدي کرنا) To make haste, to be precipitate.

هٿکا هٿکي haṭkā-haṭkī H s. f. Driving back, struggling.

هٿکانا haṭkānā H (causal of هٿکنا) v. a. To stop.

چٿکا chaṭkā H s. m. Scarcity. چٿکالگانا chaṭkā lagānā, To thirst, to wish.

چٿکارنا chaṭkārnā H v. a. To urge cattle by the clacking noise made by drawing the tongue from the palate.

چٿکاري chaṭkārī H verbal, s. f. from چٿکارنا q.v.

چٿکانا chaṭkānā H (caus. of چٿکنا) v. a. 1. To crack (as, a whip), to snap the fingers (in re- joicing). 2. To split. 3. To fire off a musket. 4. To irritate.

کهٿکا khaṭkā H or khuṭkā, s. m. 1. Apprehension, suspicion, doubt, suspense, abodement. 2. Sound of footsteps.

کهٿکانا khaṭkānā H s. m. Rapping, thumping, rattling (of a door, &c.).
