تردوش त्रिदोष त्रि Three, and दोष Evil, fault tri-dosh̤ S. s. m. Effervescence of the three humours, viz. phlegm, bile, and atrabilis.

تفوق tafauwuḳ A (inf. v. of فوق) s. m. 1. Pre- tending to a superiority over others. 2. Doing any thing by degrees.

تفول tafauwul A (inf. v. of فال) s. m. Taking an omen (especially a good one from the word of another).

فواره fauwāra A (adj. superl. from فور To boil, like a pot or fountain. Analog. to Heb. To break) s. m. A fountain, a jet, drain, a spring. فواره چهـوٿنا fauwāra chhūṭnā, To burst or spout forth a jet dʼeau.

فوت faut A s. f. Death, failure, omission. فوت هونا faut honā, 1. To die. 2. To be interred.

فوتي faut-ī A. adj. 1. Dead. 2. (Property) of one who dies intestate and without legal heirs (which escheats to the sovereign). فوتي فراري

فوج fauj A (from افاجة To hasten, to run) s. f. An army, a multitude. (Plur. افواج). فوجکشي fauj-kash-ī, s. f. The collecting or levying of an army. A. P. فوجدار fauj-dār, An officer of the police so called, a magistrate.

فوجداري fauj-dār-ī A s. f. Office of a فوجدار faujdār.

فور faur A s. m. Celerity, haste. في الفور fi-l-faur, adv. Immediately, instantly.

فورا fauraṉ A adv. Quickly, suddenly, instantly, directly.

فوز fauz A s. Victory, fruition, salvation.

فوفل faufal A or fūfal, s. The betel-nut.

فوق fauḳ A s. m. Superiority, excellence, alti- tude, loftiness. prep. Above.

فوقاني fauḳānī A adj. Superiour, upper.

فوقيت fauḳ-īyat A s. f. Excellence, preference, superiority, preeminence, supremacy. See فوق fauḳ.
