آب دار āb-dār P (آب q. v. and دار Having) s. m. The person entrusted with the charge of water for drinking: any thing full of water or splendour, as fruits, jewels, pearls, swords. adj. Polished, clear, of a good water (as gems), well tempered (as steel), sharp (as a sword).

آب داري āb-dār-ī P s. f. The having water; the brilliancy (of gems), temper or polish (of steel), sharpness (of a sword).

اب دار خانه āb-dār-ḵẖāna P s. The place where the āb-dār keeps the water for drinking.

ادار उदार udār S adj. Liberal, generous, mu- nificent.

ادارتا उदारता udār-tā S s. f. Liberality, ge- nerosity, munificence.

اصدار iṣdār A (inf. iv. of صدر) s. m. Producing, appearing, issuing.

اقتدار iḳtidār A (inf. viii. of قدر) s. m. Power, authority; excellence, dignity.

اندارا indārā S̱. (अन्धु A well) s. m. A large well of masonry.

بدارن bidāran S (विदारण from वि and r. दृ Tear) s. m. Tearing, rending, breaking, cleaving, splitting, severing, dividing.

بدارنا bidārnā विदारण S̱. v. a. To tear, to rend.

برخوردار bar-ḵẖụr-dār P adj. Happy, enjoying long life and prosperity. (Male children are thus called, q. d. enjoying the fruits of life).

بردار bar-dār P part. in compos. (from برداشتن) Taker up, carrier, bearer, holding or raising up. So سونٿي بردار Club-bearer, &c.

برداري bar-dār-ī P s. f. (in compos.) The act of bearing, carrying, &c.

بودار bo-dār P 1. adj. Scented. 2. s. m. A kind of leather so called.

بيدار bedār P adj. Awake, watching, wakeful, watchful, sleepless. بيداربخت bedār-baḵẖt,
