بيچوبه be-choba (lit. P pole-less) s. m. A kind of tent pitched without a pole.

بڙچود buṛ-chod H A term of abuse, scoundrel.

رهچولا rahcholā H s. m. Flattery, agreeable conversation.

زرد چوب zard-chob P s. f. Yellow wood, tur- merick. (Curcuma longa).

مچوڙنا machoṛnā H v. a. To twist, to break by twisting.

نچوڙ nichoṛ H s. m. 1. The end or termination of any affair. 2. The burthen, or that on which any thing depends.

نچوڙنا nichoṛnā H v. a. To wring, squeeze, press, strain, express, extort, to exact.

نچوڙو nichoṛū H adj. Rapacious.

نچوڙوا nichoṛwā H adj. Rapacious.

پنچورا panchorā H s. m. An earthen vessel with a narrow neck and a hole in the bottom. When filled with water and the mouth stopped, no water flows from the hole below till the hand or whatever stopped the mouth be removed. (It is used as an experiment to illustrate the doc- trine of the horror vacui by the followers of Aristotle).

پچوتره pachotara पंचोत्तर S̱. s. m. A duty of five per cent. on merchandise.

چوا choʼā H or chowā, s. m. 1. The name of a perfume. 2. The pod or skin of any kind of pulse. 3. A windfall (fruit).

چوان choʼān S̱. (see چونا chūnā) s. f. Dropping, dripping.

چوانا choʼānā S̱. (caus. of چونا chūnā) v. a. To cause to drip, to distil, drop, filter, draw off.
