چـﮩلم chihlum P adj. Fortieth, the fortieth day (of mourning, &c.).

چـﮩ‍لا chihlā H or chahlā, s. m. 1. Mud, ooze, slime, mire. 2. A splinter of wood. چـﮩ‍لا نکلنا chihlā nikalnā, To fatigue, to be tired. چـﮩ‍لا کرنا chihlā-karnā, To split to pieces.
