آچرن आचरण ācharaṇ S s. m. Manner of life, conduct, behaviour, custom, practice, insti- tute, religious observance.

چربنا charabnā H v. (dakh. i. q. غلبه کرنا) To overcome, overpower, prevail.

چرس charas H s. m. 1. The exudation of the flowers of hemp collected with the dew and prepared for use as an intoxicating drug. 2. A leathern bucket, an urn.

چرن चरण charaṇ S s. m. 1. The foot. 2. The feet of a verse. 3. Shoes. 4. See چلن chalan. چرنامرت चरणामृत charaṇāmr̤ita, Water in which an idolʼs or a Brāhmaṇʼs feet have been washed. چرنامرت لينا charaṇāmr̤it lenā, To wash the feet of a guest. چرنودک चरणदोक charaṇodak, See چرنامرت चरणामृत above.

چرن चरण charaṇ S s. Grazing, feeding.

چرند يا چرنده charand P or charanda, adj. Gra- zing (an animal). s. m. A beast, an animal that grazes. چرند و پرند charand o parand, s. m. Beasts and birds.

چرپٿا charapṭā H s. (dakh.) A small wound.

چرچنا charachnā S̱. (see چرچا चर्चा charchā, sig. 3.) v. a. To perfume by smearing or plastering the body with sandal-wood, &c.

چرک charak S̱. (from चित्रक) s. m. Leprosy.
