انچڙه an-chaṛh H adj. Not having mounted, not accustomed to riding.

مشکين چڙهانا mushkeṅ chaṛhānā H v. a. To pinion, to tie the hands behind the back.

چڙهانا chaṛhānā H (trans. of چڙهنا chaṛhnā) v. a. 1. To make ascend, embark, &c. 2. To offer up oblations or sacrifice. 3. To string (a bow), to brace (a drum). 4. To raise, lift, take up, advance, apply, put, spread, bend, die (with colour), pull, draw on, cock, fix (a bayonet), run.

چڙهاو chaṛhāʼo H (from چڙهنا) s. m. Ascent, rise, acclivity, attack, access, fit, rank, dignity, flood-tide.

چڙهبنا chaṛhbannā H v. a. To find an oppor- tunity. H.S̱. چڙهتا هونا chaṛhtā honā, v. n. To excel.

چڙهتي chaṛhtī H s. f. Advantage, gain, rise.

چڙهنا chaṛhnā H v. n. 1. To ascend, mount, ad- vance, attack, embark, board, rise, climb, soar, spread, swell, ride. 2. To be strung (a bow), to be braced (a drum). 3. To be offered up (an oblation or sacrifice). چڙهنا اترنا chaṛhnā utarnā, v. n. 1. To hire and dismiss. 2. Congressus.

چڙهندار chaṛhan-dār H s. m. A passenger, super- cargo.

چڙهني chaṛhnī H s. f. Preparations for battle.

چڙهوان chaṛhwāṅ H adj. Rising up (a shoe over the heel of the wearer).

چڙهوانا chaṛhwānā H (caus. of چڙهنا) v. a. To cause others to raise or to make ascend or to pull on, &c.

چڙهويا chaṛhwaiyā H (from چڙهنا) s. m. One who ascends, a mounter, rider, climber.

چڙهي chaṛhī H s. f. Preparations for battle. ¶ chuṛhī, s. (dakh.) See s̱. چڙيا chiṛiyā.

چڙهيت chaṛhait H s. m. See چڙهويا chaṛh- waiyā.

چڙهيتا chaṛhaitā H (from چڙهنا) s. m. A trooper who does not ride his own horse, a rider.
