A target (to shoot at). چاندچهپانا chānd chhipānā, To change as the moon. چاندرات chānd-rāt, End of the month. چاند تارا chānd-tārā, A robe made of flowering muslin, &c. چاندمارنا chānd mārnā, To fire at a mark. چاندني کهيت کيا chānd ne khet kiyā, The moon has risen.

چاندنا chāndnā चान्द्र S̱. s. m. Light. چاندنا پکهـ chāndnā-pakh, s. m. The light fortnight of the moon.

چاندني chāndnī चान्द्री S̱. s. f. 1. The moon- beams, moonlight. 2. Name of a flower. 3. A cloth spread over a carpet. 4. Any thing white and shining. چاندني چوک chāndnī-chauk, s. m. A wide and publick street or market. چاندني رات chāndnī-rāt, A moonlight night. چاندني کا مارجانا chāndnī kā mār jānā, v. n. To be affected with a disease supposed to proceed from a stroke of the moon (a horse).
