اباحت ibāḥat A (inf. iv. of باح), s. f. Giving liberty, permission.

باقي bāḳī A part. act. (from بقا) Remaining, per- manent, lasting, extant, eternal; (used substan- tively) remnant, remainder, balance, arrear. باقي دار bāḳī-dār, Owing a balance. باقي رهنا bāḳī rahnā, To remain, to be left, to be saved.

باقيات bāḳiyāt A s. plur. (of باقي) Remainders, balances, arrears.

بانان bāṅāṅ वाम S̱. adj. Left (hand). See بايان bāyāṅ.

بانس bāṅs वंश S̱. s. m. 1. A bamboo. 2. A measure of about ten feet, used to measure tanks, ditches, and excavations in general. (A cube of one bāṅs is called a chaukā). بانس پرچڙهنا bāṅs par chaṛhnā, v. n. To be branded with infamy.

بانس پهوڙ bāṅs-phoṛ S̱. (वंशस्फोट from वंश Bamboo, and r. स्फुट Break) s. m. Name of a cast who work on bamboos.
