اولا aulā A adj. Better, best: see اوليٰٰ aulạ̄. ¶ awwalaṉ, adv. At first, in the first place.

اولاد aulād A s. f. (plur. of ولد) Children, offspring, descendants, issue, progeny.

اولويت aulavīyat A s. f. Excellence, superiority, preeminence.

اوليا auliyā A s. plur. (of ولي) 1. Friends, com- panions (especially, of the prophets). 2. The saints, the apostles, the holy. اوليأالله auliyā-i-allāh, Friends of God.

اوليٰٰ aulạ̄ A adj. compar. (of ولي) Better, best.

بنولا binaulā H s. m. The seed of the cotton tree. (It is said to be very fattening food for cattle). بنولاچابنا binaulā chābnā, To say unpleasant things.

بنولي binaulī H s. f. Hail (of a small kind).

بول baul A s. m. Urine.

بولا baulā H adj. Toothless.

بولانا baulānā S̱. (from वातूल) v. n. To be mad, to madden. See بورانا baurānā. H. P. بول بالا bol-bālā (بول Speech, and بالا High) s. m. A kind of benediction. بول بالاهونا bol- bālā honā, To prosper.

بچوليا bich-auliyā S̱. s. m. An arbitrator, &c. See بچواني bich-wānī.

تردوش त्रिदोष त्रि Three, and दोष Evil, fault tri-dosh̤ S. s. m. Effervescence of the three humours, viz. phlegm, bile, and atrabilis.

ترپوليا tirpauliyā S̱. (from त्रि Three, and پول for

تول taul S̱. or tol (तोल) s. m. Weight, weighing. تول تال taul-tāl, Weighing and measuring.

تولأي taulāʼī S̱. (from تولنا) s. f. The price for weighing.
