اولا aulā A adj. Better, best: see اوليٰٰ aulạ̄. ¶ awwalaṉ, adv. At first, in the first place.

اولاد aulād A s. f. (plur. of ولد) Children, offspring, descendants, issue, progeny.

اوليٰٰ aulạ̄ A adj. compar. (of ولي) Better, best.

بنولا binaulā H s. m. The seed of the cotton tree. (It is said to be very fattening food for cattle). بنولاچابنا binaulā chābnā, To say unpleasant things.

بنولي binaulī H s. f. Hail (of a small kind).

بولا baulā H adj. Toothless.

بولانا baulānā S̱. (from वातूल) v. n. To be mad, to madden. See بورانا baurānā. H. P. بول بالا bol-bālā (بول Speech, and بالا High) s. m. A kind of benediction. بول بالاهونا bol- bālā honā, To prosper.

تولأي taulāʼī S̱. (from تولنا) s. f. The price for weighing.

تولانا taulānā S̱. (caus. of تولنا) v. a. To cause to be weighed.

تولي taulī H s. f. A vessel used by Hindūs.

توليد taulīd A (inf. ii. of ولد) s. f. Birth, genera- tion.

جولان jaulān P s. m. Moving about (in the place of exercise), coursing, springing, wandering. جولان کرنا jaulān karnā, To make to spring or move about. جولانگاه jaulān-gāh, s. f. Place of exercise (especially, of an army or of horses). جولانگري jaulān-gar-ī, s. f. Galloping fast, fleetness.

جولاني jaulānī P s. f. 1. Strength of mind (or body), quickness of apprehension, acumen. 2. Fleetness.

دهولا dhaulā धवल S̱. adj. White. دهولاگر dhau- lāgir (धवलगिरी) s. m. Name of a moun- tain.

دهولاٴي dhaulā-ī S̱. (from धवल) s. f. Whiteness.
