ارانا arrānā H v. n. To produce a continued sound (as a mill; the word being an imitation of the sound).

اراٿا arrāṭā H s. m. A loud and prolonged sound (as from the discharge of artillery or the fall of a building).

اره arra P s. m. A saw. اره کش arra-kash, A sawyer. اره سرپرچلانا arra sir par chalānā, To oppress any one, to commit violence. سرپراري چل گئي تو بهي مدار مدار sir par arre chal gaʼe tau bhī madār madār, He has incurred punish- ment and disgrace, yet he has not reformed his manners.

اشر asharr A adj. compar. (of شریر) More or very vicious, malignant, atrocious, flagitious: or vi- cious, malignant, &c. اشرالناس asharru-n-nās, The most wicked of men.

برانا barrānā S̱. (seeبڙبڙانا ) v. a. To talk in oneʼs sleep or in a delirium.

براهٿ barrāhaṭ H (from برانا barrānā) s. f. Chat- tering, prate, rant.

بري barr-ī A adj. Belonging to the dry land, to the forest or desert; wild.

تبرک tabarruk A (inf. v. of برکت Heb. He blessed) s. m. 1. Benediction, congratulation. 2. A portion of presents (or what is left of food presented to great men, &c.) given to their de- pendants; sacred relicks. (Plur. تبرکات).

تجرد tajarrud A (inf. v. of جرد) s. m. Living in solitude, solitude, celibacy.
