آوردا āwardā आयुर्द्दय S̱. s. f. The allotted period of any oneʼs life, a life time, an age.

اردهانگ अर्द्धांग अर्द्ध Half, and अंग Body ardhāng S. s. m. Half the body; palsy affecting one side or the upper or lower part of the body, hemiplegia. اردهانگ دهرنا ardhāng dharnā, To assume a body half male and half female.

اردهانگي अर्द्धांगी ardhāng-ī S 1. adj. One afflicted with hemiplegia. 2. s. f. A wife.

انتردهیان antardhyān अन्तर्द्धान S̱. s. Disap- pearance. انتردهیان هونا antardhyān honā, To vanish, disappear, be concealed.

برد bard A s. m. Cold, frigidity. H. P. بردار bar-dār (بر Breadth, and دار Having) adj. Wide, broad (cloth).

بردان bardān S or vara-dān (वर A bridegroom, a blessing, and दान A gift) s. m. 1. A wed- ding gift (to a bride). 2. The answer to a prayer addressed to God or to a saint.

برده barda P s. m. and f. A captive, a slave. برده فروش barda-farosh, A slave merchant.
