اجل ajal A s. f. The term of life, fate, death, the hour of death, the predestined time of death, a stated time, delay, respite, period for the pay- ment of a debt. اجل رسیده ajal rasīda, Over- taken by fate. اجل گرفته ajal-girifta, Seized by fate, on the point of death, in a situation that leaves no hopes of life, in the jaws of death.

بجنتري bajantarī S̱. (वाद्य A musical instrument, and यंत्री A musician) s. m. One who plays on musical instruments. بجنتري محال bajan- taṛī-maḥāl, s. m. 1. The quarter inhabited by musicians. 2. A brothel. 3. Taxes on musi- cians and female dancers. P. A. بجنس ba-jins, By kind, in detail, particu- larly.

بهجن भजन bhajan S s. m. Adoration, worship; a hymn. بهجن کرنا bhajan-karnā, v. a. To say prayers, to worship.

تجدد tajaddud A (inf. v. of جدّ) s. m. (from جدّ) Renewal, novelty.

تجرد tajarrud A (inf. v. of جرد) s. m. Living in solitude, solitude, celibacy.

تجزي tajazzī A (inf. v. of جزأ) s. f. Separating into small pieces, analysis.

تجسس tajassus A (inf. v. of جسّ) s. m. f. Spying, exploring, search, inquiry, investigation, curiosity, inquisitiveness. تجسس کرنا tajassus karnā, To pry into, to search diligently, to ex- plore.

تجلجل tajaljul A (inf. ii. of جلجل) s. Descending or entering into the earth, commotion.

حجر ḥajar A s. m. A stone. (Plur. احجار aḥjār). حجرتان ḥajratān, Gold and silver. حجرالاسود ḥa- jaru-l-aswad, s. m. The black stone in the tem- ple of Mecca. حجراليـﮩود ḥajaru-l-yahūd, s. m. رجب rajab A s. m. The seventh month of the Muhammadan year. It is also called رجب المرجب.
