ابدال abdāl A s. m. (plur. of بدیل) A religious person, a devotee, an enthusiast.

ابدهوت abdhūt S̱. s. m. (अवधुत) One devoted to God but not attending on ceremonies; a kind of Hindū devotee who worships Siva.

شبديز shabdez P s. m. A black horse of extraor- dinary size, belonging to King Ḵẖusrau Par- wez; a black horse, a horse of noble breed.
