تقريب taḳrīb A (inf. ii. of قرب) s. f. 1. Bringing near, approximation, approaching, proximity, access. 2. Recommendation, mentioning any one to another before meeting. 3. Occasion, conjunction, cause, pretence, motive, probability. تقريب کرنا taḳrīb karnā, To commend, to re- commend, to prepare a person for the reception of another.
