اتهوا अथ Now, &c. and वा Or atha-vā S. conj. Or. S. اتي इति (r. इ Go) itī, a particle implying Cause, manifestation, reference, something ad- ditional, conclusion: and may be translated by Thus therefore, lo, behold, et cetera, so says, finis, the end; in which latter sense it is usually written like زیاده چه in Persian and تم in Arabic, at the end of a book, letter, &c.

اجر अजर अ and r. जृ Grow old a-jar S. adj. Exempt from decrepitude or the infirmi- ties of old age, undecayable.

اجگر अजगर अज A goat, and r. गृ Swal- low aj-gar S. s. m. A large serpent, the Boa constrictor.

جووت jowat H (in Braj from جوونون) Sees, re- gards.

جوونون jowanauṅ H v. a. (in Braj) To see, to look at, to regard.

سنجوونا sanjowanā संयोजन S̱. v. a. To prepare.

هيراولي हीरावलि हीर Diamond, and आवलि Row hīrāwali S. s. f. A row or string of diamonds.

پربوده प्रभोद प्र and r. बुध Know prabodh S. s. m. Demonstration, consolation, persuasion.

پربودهن प्रबोधन प्र and r. बुध Know pra- bodhan S. s. m. Persuasion, persuading.

پرسرم परिश्रम परि and r. श्रम Grow tired parisram S. s. m. Fatigue, labour, toil.

پرنام प्रणाम प्र and r. णम Bow praṇām S. or parnām, s. m. Salutation, bow, obeisance.

پوونون powanauṅ H (in Braj) v. a. See پونا ponā.

پيترس पीत Yellow and रस Juice pīt-ras S. s. m. Turmerick. (Curcuma). S. پيترک पैत्रिक (from पिता Father) paitrik, adj. Hereditary, inherited from a father.
