اسلاف aslāf A s. plur. (of سلف) Ancestors.

تسلا taslā H s. m. A vessel used by Hindūs to dress their victuals.

تسليم taslīm A (inf. ii. of سلم) s. f. 1. Delivery, consignment, cession, surrender, resignation. 2. Recommending to the care or protection of another. 3. Saluting most respectfully, homage, obeisance. 4. Health, security. (Plur. تسليمات taslīmāt). تسليمات بجالانا taslīmāt ba-jā lānā, To make obeisances. تسليم کرنا taslīm karnā, To resign, surrender, cede, commit, consign: to salute (most respectfully), to make obeisance, to homage, to do homage. تسليم هونا taslīm honā, To be resigned or committed.

مسلخ maslaḵẖ A (noun of place of سلخ) s. f. A slaughterhouse, shambles.

مسلک maslak A (noun of place of سلک) s. m. A way, path, track, an institution, regulation, rule of conduct.

نسل nasl A (analog. to Heb. ) s. f. Race, pedigree, genealogy, descent, breed, cast, ori- gin, family, offspring, lineage.

نسلي nasl-ī A. adj. Of family.

هسلي haslī H s. m. 1. The collar-bone, clavicle. 2. A collar (of gold or silver, &c.) worn round the neck as an ornament.

پسلي paslī पार्श्व S̱. s. f. A rib, the præcordia. پسلي پهڙکني paslī phaṛaknī, A thrilling over the ribs, is applied to a perception of the condition of an absent person.
