بٿپ biṭap विटपिन् S̱. s. m. A tree.

بٿپ वटिप biṭap S or viṭapa, s. m. A twig.

ٿپ پڙنا ṭap paṛnā H v. a. To thrust oneʼs self into other peopleʼs concerns, to intermeddle, to interfere. H. S̱. ٿپ جانا ṭap jānā, v. n. To jump over.

ٿپ ṭap H s. m. Spring, leap, bound, a drop of rain or other liquid. 2. A sound.

ٿپا ṭappā H s. m. 1. The postoffice. 2. The name of a mode in musick. 3. The bound of a ball, &c. 4. A sort of hook. 5. A jump, a bound. ٿپا مارنا ṭappā-mārnā, 1. To sew or stitch with intervals. 2. To read in a desultory manner. ٿپا کهانا ṭappā khānā, To bound or ricochet (a shot).

ٿپانا ṭapānā H (caus. of ٿپنا) v. a. To cause to jump over, to cause to leap, to make to bound.

ٿپنا ṭapnā H v. a. To jump over. ٿپا ٿوا ṭapā ṭoʼā, part. Groping.

ٿپک ṭapak H (from ٿپکنا) s. f. 1. Pain, throb-

ٿپکا ṭapkā H s. m. 1. A drop of rain. 2. Fruit falling when ripe (particularly mangos), a windfall.

ٿپکانا ṭapkānā H (causal of ٿپکنا) v. a. To cause to drip, to distil.

ٿپکنا ṭapaknā H v. n. 1. To drop when ripe. 2. To drip, to distil. 3. To throb, to pal- pitate.

ٿپکي ṭapkī H s. f. diminutive of ٿپکا ṭapkā, q. v. ٿپکي پڙني عورت کي ṭapkī paṛnī aﻌurat kī, To be wanton (a woman).
