اٿل a-ṭal S (अ and r. टल Be agitated) adj. Im- movable, fixed, of a determined resolution.

بهشٿل bhishṭal H s. f. A foolish or stupid woman.

جٿل jaṭal H s. See زٿل zaṭal.

زٿل zaṭal H (corrupt. from جٿل) s. f. Chattering, talking much and foolishly, quibbling, tattle. زٿل مارنا zaṭal mārnā, To chatter, to talk non- sense. زٿل هانکنا zaṭal hānknā, To quibble.

سٿل saṭal H s. f. Foolish prattle, falsehood.

سٿلي saṭalī H s. f. Chattering nonsense, false- hood.

پاٿل पाटल pāṭal S s. m. Rose or pink-colour.

ٿل جانا ṭal jānā S̱. v. n. To get out of the way, to disappear, to vanish, to pass away.

ٿل ملانا ṭalmalānā H 1. To totter. 2. To tantalize.

ٿلا ṭallā H s. m. Impetus sive succussus in coitu. ٿلي نويسي ṭalle-navīs-ī, s. f. Unprofitable em- ployment, wasting of time.

ٿلانا ṭalānā S̱. (caus. of ٿلنا) v. a. To cause to dis- appear, to cause to give away.

ٿلنا ṭalnā S̱. (r. टल Be confused or agitated) v. n. 1. To give way, shrink from, flinch. 2. To dis- appear, pass away, retire.

ٿلوا ṭalūʼā H s. m. A man who watches over a ٿال ṭāl, q. v.

ٿلي ṭalle H s. m. Congressus, sonitus collisionis in coitu.

ٿلپ ṭalap H s. f. A piece, a fragment.
