حسرت ḥasrat A (from حسر Heb. Defect, want, privation) s. f. Regret, grief, desire. حسرت آلوده ḥasrat-ālūda, adj. Overwhelmed with grief. حسرت زده ḥasrat-zada, adj. Wo- begone, afflicted. حسرت کشته ḥasrat-kushta, Killed with grief.

حسن ḥasan A (from حسن ḥusn) 1. adj. Good, beautiful. 2. A proper name, a son of علي aﻌlī.

حسود ḥasūd A (from حسد) adj. Envious, malig- nant. ¶ ḥusūd, s. Envying, envy.

حشاش بشاش ḥashshāsh-bashshāsh A. adj. Joy- ful.

حشري ḥashr-ī A adj. Ghastly; violent and im- petuous (for the mare, a horse).
