آروڙهہ आरुढ ā-rūṛha S adj. Mounted (on a horse, or any thing else).

ارناٴي arunāʼī अरुणता S̱. s. f. A dark red colour. See under ارن aruṇ.

ارچ अरुचि aruchi S s. f. Sickness at stomach, nausea. ¶ अर्चि archi, s. m. Flame, light, splendour, radiance.

اسواروڙهہ अश्वारुढ asw-ārūṛha S adj. Mounted on a horse.

اندراین indrāyan इन्द्रवारुणी S̱. s. f. Colo- cynth, wild gourd (Cucumis colocynthis, a fruit of beautiful appearance but bitter taste); hence, a beautiful but worthless person is called اندراین کا پهل The fruit of indrāyan. S. اندربدهو इन्द्रवधू (इंद्र Indra, and वधू or बधू A woman) indra-badhū, s. f. 1. Name of an insect (a species of acarus of a scarlet colour and like velvet). 2. The wife of Indra.

برن वरुण barun S or varuṇa, s. m. 1. The god of water. 2. Name of a tree. (Cratæva tapia, or Capparis trifoliata).

بنور baṅwar वीरुध् S̱. s. f. A creeper, a vine.

تر तरु taru S s. m. A tree.

ترن तरुण taruṇ S adj. Young, juvenile, adult. S. ترن (r. तृ Cross, traverse) 1. तरणि taraṇi, s. m. The sun. 2. s. f. A boat. 3. तरण taraṇ, s. m. Passing over; escaping, being saved. 4. One who is saved or delivered.

ترنائي tarunāʼī तरुणता S̱. s. f. Adolescence, youth, puberty.
