بهچن bhachan भक्षण S̱. s. m. Food, eating.

بهچهنا bhachhnā भक्षण S̱. v. a. To eat, to take food. S. بهچهي भक्षी (r. भक्ष Eat) bhachchh̤ī (or bhak- sh̤ī) adj. m. Eater, eating, devouring.

بهکهنا bhakhnā भक्षण S̱. v. a. To eat, to de- vour.

بهگت bhagat भक्त S̱. s. m. See بهکت bhakt. بهگت کهيلنا bhagat-khelnā, v. n. To act (a play), to imitate, to mimick. بهگت هونا bhagat-honā, v. n. To be initiated as a devotee, to be affi- liated to a religious order. (This is peculiar to the low tribes. The initiation consists in putting a necklace of beads round the neck, and marking a circle on the forehead. After which, the initiated person is bound to refrain from the use of spirituous liquors, flesh, &c.).
