آسمنتات आसमन्तात् आ, सम् and अन्त End āsamantāt S. adv. All around, on every side; wholly, altogether.

اببیکتا a-bibek-tā अविवेकता S̱. s. f. Indiscreetness, indiscretion.

اتان उत्तान उत and r. तन Extend, stretch utān S. or ut-tān, adj. Supine, lying on the back; shallow.

اداتا अदाता a-dātā S adj. Illiberal, avaricious, stingy.

ادارتا उदारता udār-tā S s. f. Liberality, ge- nerosity, munificence.

استاچل अस्ताचल astāchal S s. m. The name of a mountain in the west, behind which the sun is supposed to set.

استهرتا अस्थिरता a-sthiratā S s. f. Unsteadiness, instability. S. استهرتا स्थिरता (r. ष्ठा Stand) isthiratā or sthiratā, s. f. Rest, tranquillity, steadiness.

اوتار अवतार अव and r. तृ Cross, pass ava-tār S. vulgarly autār, s. m. Descent, espe- cially of a deity from heaven; incarnation. ايسورتا ईश्वरता īswar-tā S s. f. Divinity, god- head.

اپتورت अ and पतिव्रता A virtuous, faithful wife a-pativratā S. adj. and s. f. Unchaste (a woman); a courtezan.

اپراجتا अपराजिता aparājitā S s. f. The name of a twining shrub (called also کویل koyal, and کواٿهینٿهي kawwā-ṭhenṭhī, i. e. Crowʼs beak) Clitoria ternatea: also, the name of other plants.

اپرتاپ अप्रताप a-pratāp S s. m. Want of acuteness, of power or of fortune.

اپرتاپي अप्रतापी a-pratāp-ī S adj. Blunt, pow- erless, unfortunate.
