اجر अजिर ajir S s. m. An area, court, yard.

اجن अजिन ajin S s. m. A hide used as a seat, bed, &c. by the religious student; generally the hide of an antelope.

اجیت برن ajīt baran अजित वर्ण S̱. s. m. Leprosy (of a bad kind).

To forbid by signs. 2. (from the Persian) To grant the request of a petitioner. 3. To be struck with terrour or astonishment. جيبهـ نکالنا jībh nikālnā, To be extremely fatigued or thirsty.

جيت jīt जित् S̱. s. f. Winning, victory.

رايا rāʼiyā राजिका S̱. s. m. A species of mustard with large seeds.

راٴي rāʼī राजिका S̱. s. f. A kind of mustard seed with small grains. (Sinapis ramosa). راٴي کاٴي rāʼī-kā-ʼī, Broken to small pieces or atoms.

سجي sajjī सर्ज्जिका S̱. s. f. A kind of mineral alkali, natron, impure carbonate of soda.

لجت लज्जित lajjit S adj. Abashed, ashamed.

مجيٿهـ majīṭh मंजिष्ठा S̱. s. f. Name of a drug used for dying red. (Rubia manjith: Roxb.).
