سنکلپ संकल्प sankalp S s. m. A solemn vow or declaration of purpose. سنکلپ کرنا sankalp karnā, See سنکلپنا sankalpnā.

شاکل shākal शाकल्य S̱. s. f. A mixture of se- samum seed, barley, ghī, coarse sugar, fruits, &c. used in oblations to the gods.

Propriety, fitness. کلپ برچهہ कल्पवृक्ष kalpa-brichh or -vr̤iksh̤a, or کلپتر कल्पतरु kalpa-taru, A tree in Indraʼs heaven that yields whatever may be desired.

کلکي कल्की kalkī S s. m. The name of the tenth Hindū incarnation, which will happen. The deity will assume the appearance of a Brāhmaṇ, who is to be born in the town of Sambal and in the family of Vishnu Sarmā. He will ride on horseback and put to death all the wicked.
