هتهکهنڐا hath-khanḍā S̱. s. m. Habit, custom, knack.

کهنڐانا khinḍānā H (caus. of کهنڐنا) v. a. To scatter.

کهنڐت کرنا khanḍit karnā S̱. (Sans. खंडित) v. a. To prevent, to interrupt, to refute.

کهنڐتا खंडिता khanḍitā S s. f. A woman who, provoked at the infidelities of her husband or lover, is rather abusive, speaks her mind freely, but retains no malice in her breast. See Āʼīn Akbarī, Vol. III, p. 174, 8vo.

کهنڐر khanḍar S̱. (खंड Fragment) s. m. A ruinous or broken down building, ruins of a town or house, &c.

کهنڐريچ khanḍrīch S̱. (Sans. खंजरीट) s. m. Name of a small bird, a wagtail.
