انچهر anchhar S̱. s. m. See آنچر ānchar.

انگوچها angochhā S̱. (अंग The body, and r. उछ Bind) s. m. A cloth which Hindūs fasten round the waist when bathing, and afterwards wipe themselves with; a towel, a handkerchief.

اوچها ochhā H adj. Light, of little consequence, absurd, trifling, fickle, fruitless, silly, capricious. اوچهاهونا ochhā honā, v. n. To want.

اپرچها a-parichchhā S̱. (अ and परीक्षा Trial, or- deal) s. f. Want of trial or proof.

اپچهرا apchharā अप्सरा S̱. s. f. A female dancer in the court of Indra. See اپسرا apsarā.

اچها achchhā S̱. (अच्छ Clear, transparent) adj. Good, excellent, pleasant, righteous, healthy, well, sound, lucky. اچها کرنا achchhā karnā, To cure, recover. اچها لگنا achchhā lagnā, To be- come, beseem, please, be agreeable. اچها هونا achchhā honā, v. n. To recover.

اچها इच्छा ichchhā S s. f. Wish, desire. اچها بهوجن ichchhā bhojan, Desirable food, or food to the utmost desire.

اچهالنا uchhālnā S̱. (caus. of اچهلنا) v. a. To throw up, to toss up a thing (as a ball, &c.) and catch it in the hand. H. اچهان (अ and چهان Strain) a-chhān, adj. Not strained, impure.

اچهاه uchchhāh H s. m. Joy, gladness.

اچهت achhat H part. pres. Remaining, existing, continuing. H.S̱. اچهتانا پچهتانا achhtānā pachhtānā (see پچهتانا) v. n. To repent, to grieve, to be sorry.

اچهت अक्षत अ and क्षत Broken achchh̤at S. adj. Uninjured, unhurt; s. m. Whole or un- broken rice used in oblations. اچهت تلک achchat tilak, The ceremony of putting a few

اچهر अक्षर achchh̤ar S (or aksh̤ar) s. m. A let- ter of the alphabet.

اچهرنا uchharnā S̱. v. n. See اچهلنا uchhalnā.

اچهروٿي achhrauṭī S̱. (from अक्षर) s. f. Ortho- graphy; a mode of playing on a stringed instru- ment so as to express the words of a song.
