ايما īmā A (inf. iv. of ومأ) s. f. Sign, nod, wink, hint, beck, emblem, symptom.

ايمان īmān A (inf. iv. of امن Heb. Trusted, was secure) s. m. Faith, belief, religion, conscience, credit. ايمان دار īmān-dār, Faithful, conscientious, honest, trusty, believer. ايمان داري īmān-dār-ī, s. f. ايمه aima A. s. m. (for aʼịmma, plur. of امام but used to denote) Land given as a reward or fa- vour by the king at a very low rent, a fief. (When no rent is paid, the land is called لااخراج lā ḵẖirāj). Charity lands. ايمه دار aima-dār, One who holds land in ايمه aima, a feoffee.

ايمه aʼịmma A s. plur. of امام imām, q. v. نذرايمه naẕr-i-aʼịmma, A grant of land, &c. to the people who attend at the tomb of a saint.
