انومان anū-mān S̱. s. m. See ان مان anu-mān.

تومان tomān P s. m. 1. A myriad, 10,000. 2. A sum of money equal to 10,000 Arabic silver drachmas (which are about one third less than those of the Greeks): also, a sum equal to fifteen dollars and a half. 3. Districts, into which a kingdom is divided, each being sup- posed to furnish 10,000 fighting men. See تمن (When the city of Samarkand, for example, is put down for seven tomāns, it implies that she must hold 70,000 men ready for the field on the requisition of her sovereign. Richards).

تومري tūmrī S̱. (from तुम्बी see تومڙي) s. f. The snout of a crocodile, alligator, &c.

جسومت jasomati S̱. s. f. See جسودا.

حکومت ḥukūmat A (from حکم) s. f. Dominion, sovereignty, government, jurisdiction, sway, au- thority. حکومت کرنا ḥukūmat karnā, To govern, to rule.

خصومت ḵẖuṣūmat A (from خصم) s. f. Enmity, quarrelling, contention, strife.

دهوما dhūm-ā धूम्र S̱. s. m. The name of a co- lour (like that of smoke), purple.

دهومرا dhūm-rā S̱. (धूम्र or धूमल) s. m. See دهوما dhūmā. adj. Of the colour of smoke, compounded of black and red, purple.

رسومات rusūmāt A s. f. plur. of رسوم rusūm, q. v.

رومال rū-māl P (رو Face, and part. act. of ماليدن To rub) s. m. A handkerchief, a towel.

رومالي rūmāl-ī P. s. f. 1. A kind of pigeon. 2. A mode of exercising the arms by turning the mugdars over the head. 3. A sodomite. 4. A handkerchief worn about the head.
