جهٿالنا jhuṭālnā S̱. (see جهوٿهـ) v. a. 1. To prove to be false, to prove one in the wrong. 2. To pollute victuals by touching them, &c. منــﮩـ جهٿالنا muṅh jhuṭālnā, To eat something. منـﮩ‍ا منـﮩـ جهٿالنا muṅhā muṅh jhuṭālnā, To give a man the lie to his face.

دهٿاٴيگي dhiṭāʼegī S̱. s. f. (dakh.) See ڐهٿهاٴي ḍhiṭhāʼī.

نهٿانا nhaṭānā H v. a. (dakh. caus. of نهاٿنا nhāṭ- nā) To cause to flee, to put to flight (Harris).

هٿانا haṭānā H (causal of هٿنا) v. a. To repel, drive backwards, to back, to worst, to foil.

پهٿانا phiṭānā H v. a. To beat up and mix, to froth.

پهٿپهٿانا phaṭphaṭānā H v. a. 1. To shake or flap or clap the wings as birds just going to fly. 2. To give a sound as the shoes of a person walking.

چهٿان chhuṭān S̱. (from چهٿنا chhuṭnā) s. f. Leisure, time.

چهٿانک chhaṭānk षट्टंक S̱. s. f. The six- teenth part of a ser, two ounces.

کهٿال khaṭāl H s. m. Springtide.

کهٿاو khaṭāw H s. m. A pin with which a boat is fastened.

کهٿاٴي khaṭā-ī H s. f. 1. Acidity, sourness. 2. An acid.

کهٿاٴي khuṭā-ī H s. f. Perfidy. See کهوٿاٴي khoṭā-ī.

کهٿاپٿي khaṭāpaṭī H s. f. Wrangling.

کهٿکهٿانا khaṭkhaṭānā H v. n. To knock, to tap, to pat, to rap.

گهٿانا ghaṭānā H (caus. of گهٿنا) v. a. To decrease, lessen, diminish, abate, allay, reduce. ¶ ghu- ṭānā (from گهوٿنا or گهونٿنا) v. a. To shave clean, to polish.
