جهونٿهر jhūnṭhar H s. f. Ground that produces two crops yearly.

جهونٿهن جهانٿهن jhūnṭhan jhānṭhan H s. m. Leavings. (See جهوٿها jhūṭhā).

جهونٿي jhonṭī H s. f. See جهونٿا jhonṭā.

هونٿهي honṭh-ī S̱. s. m. The bit of a bridle.

هونٿهہ honṭh ओष्ठ S̱. s. m. The lip.

ٿهونٿها ṭhūnṭh-ā H adj. 1. Having the hand ampu- tated. 2. Having its branches lopped and leaf- less (a tree).

ٿهونٿهـ ṭhonṭh त्रोटि S̱. s. f. Beak, bill (of a bird).

ٿهونٿهـ ṭhūnṭh H s. m. 1. A stump, a branch of a tree (broken off at the end and leafless). 2. An amputated hand.

ٿهونٿهي ṭhūnṭh-ī H s. f. Stubble.

ٿهونٿيا ṭhūnṭiyā H 1. adj. See ٿهونٿها ṭhūnṭh-ā. 2. s. m. An eunuch.

کهونٿلا khūnṭlā H s. m. Name of a drug.

کهونٿي khūnṭī H s. f. A peg, a pin, cog.

گهونٿنا ghūnṭnā H v. a. To gulp, to drink, to swallow. ¶ ghonṭnā, 1. v. a. To polish by rubbing. 2. (met.) To investigate. 3. To strangle. 4. s. m. A stone, &c. with which any thing is polished. 5. The knee.

گهونٿي ghūnṭī H s. f. A medicine consisting of aloes, spices, and borax, given to new-born infants to clear out the meconium. (In urdū, گهٿي ghuṭṭī).
