بلهي balhī H s. f. A fagot.

بوالهوس bu-l-hawas A (بو Endowed with, and هوس Desire) adj. 1. Desirous. 2. Whimsical, ca- pricious, a wavering fickle (person), a block head.

بوالهوسي bu-l-hawas-ī A s. f. Caprice, capriciousness. S̱.H. بوانا boʼānā, 1. (from بونا) v. a. To cause to sow. 2. (from بو Smell) v. n. To stink, to emit a smell, to smell.

دلهيا dulhaiyā H s. f. A bride.

لهوا lhauwā S̱. s. m. (dakh.) Iron: see لوها lohā. لهوا چابنا lhauwā-chābnā (dakh. i. q. دليري کرنا) To act bravely or boldly.

لهوار lhau-ār S̱. (dakh.) s. m. Blacksmith. لهوار خاني مين سويان بيچنا lhauʼār-ḵẖāne meṅ sūyāṅ bechnā (i. q. بيجا فخر کرنا be-jā faḵẖr karnā) To boast improperly or out of place (?).

هلهل hulhul H s. m. Name of a plant. See هرهر hurhur. P.S̱. هلهل halhal (Sans. हलाहल or हालाहल) s. m. A mortal poison.

هلهلا halhalā P. s. m. Poison.

هلهلانا halhalānā H (Sans. हल्लन rolling or tossing as in sleep) v. n. to shake (from the effect of an ague, &c.), to tremble. v. a. To shake, to cause to tremble.

هلهلي halhalī H s. f. 1. Sickness, disease. 2. An ague.

چلهوانس chilhwāṅs S̱. (from चिल्ल A kite and मांस Flesh) s. m. 1. The flesh of a kite (the eating of which is said to produce madness). 2. Screaming like a kite.

چولهي chūlhī S̱. s. f. (चुल्लि) A fire-place.

چيلهـ chīlh S̱. s. f. See چيل chīl.

کلهيا kulhiyā H s. f. A cup, a small round vessel. کلهيا مين گڙپهوڙنا kulhiyā meṅ guṛ phoṛnā, (lit. To break sugar in a small cup) To endeavour to do with few hands a work which requires many.
