تلسي तुलसी tulsī S s. f. A small shrub held in veneration by the Hindūs, holy basil (Ocymum sanctum). Tulsī or Tulasī was a nymph be- loved by Kr̤ish̤ṇa and by him metamorphosed into this plant. تلسي داس tulsī-dās, n. p. جلسيني jal-senī S̱. (जलशयन from जल Wa- ter, and r. शी Sleep) s. f. 1. Sleeping in water by way of mortification. 2. A fish.

جهلسنا jhulasnā S̱. (from s. r. ज्वल Blaze, burn) v. n. To be singed, scorched or seared.

سلسل بول silsil-i-baul A. (Arab. سلسل البول sal- salu-l-baul) s. m. A diabetes, a morbid copiousness of urine.
