ابوالفضل abu-l-faẓl A (father of excellence) n. prop. The secretary of the Emperor Akbar.

ارفض arfaẓ A adj. An obstinate heretick; par- ticularly, a bigotted Shīʼaﻌ.

افضال afẓāl A s. plur. (of فضل) Graces, virtues, favours. ¶ ifẓāl (inf. iv. of فضل) s. Making to excel or increase, benefitting, grace (divine).

رافضي rāfiẓī A (part. act. of رفض To reject) s. m. A heretick, particularly a شيعه shīʼaﻌ, q. v.

رفض rifẓ A (properly rafẓ or rafaẓ) s. m. 1. Schism, heresy. 2. Abandoning.
