اذعان iẕʼāﻌn A (inf. iv. of ذعن) s. m. 1. Obe- dience, submission. 2. Confidence, belief.

استعانت istiāﻌnat A (inf. x. of عون) s. f. 1. Asking assistance, imploring help. 2. Assistance, protection.

اشتعال ishtiʼāﻌl A (inf. viii. of شعله) s. m. f. In- flaming, burning, lighting a fire or candle; fo- menting or instigating a quarrel. A. P. اشتعالک ishtiʼāﻌlak (dimin. of اشتعال) s. f. A small flame; a quarrel. اشتعالک دینا ish- tiʼāﻌlak denā, v. a. To foment (quarrels), to encourage to bad actions, to abet.

اضعاف aẕʼāﻌf A adj. plur. (of ضعف ẕiﻌf) Double.

اعانت iʼāﻌnat A (inf. iv. of عون) s. f. Help, aid, assistance, favour.

ان شا الله تعالي in shā allāhu taāﻌlạ A God willing, if God pleases, please God.

انعام inʼāﻌm A (inf. iv. of نعمت) s. m. Benefac- tion; a present, a gift, favour, benefit. (Plur. انعامات). انعام اکرام inʼāﻌm-i-ikrām, An honour- able gift. ¶ anʼāﻌm, s. plur. (of نعم) Gifts, fa- vours.

انفعال infiʼāﻌl A (inf. vii. of فعل) s. m. Shame, modesty, the being abashed.

تعاقب taʼāﻌḳub A (inf. vi. of عقب) s. m. 1. Pur- suit. 2. Persecuting. 3. Alternate succession, following.

تعاليٰ taʼāﻌlạ̄ A (from علو) adj. Most high. تعاليٰ الله taāﻌlạ-llāh, The most high God.

دعاٴيه duʼāﻌʼiya A. s. m. Benediction, invocation, prayer.
