آزرده āzurda P adj. Afflicted, sad, dispirited, sorrowful, vexed, displeased, weary. آزرده خاطر āzurda-ḵẖāt̤ir or آزرده دل āzurda-dil, Vexed, troubled in mind, offended, disgusted, dejected, sad. آزرده خاطري āzurda-ḵẖāt̤ir-ī, s. f. Sadness, &c. آزرده کرنا āzurda karnā, To afflict, vex, displease, offend.

آورده āwarda P or āwurda, part. pass. (of آوردن) Brought. (Sans. आ and ऊढ Borne, from r. वहु Bear).

ارده urdh H s. m. A kind of vetch.

اردهانگ अर्द्धांग अर्द्ध Half, and अंग Body ardhāng S. s. m. Half the body; palsy affecting one side or the upper or lower part of the body, hemiplegia. اردهانگ دهرنا ardhāng dharnā, To assume a body half male and half female.

اردهانگي अर्द्धांगी ardhāng-ī S 1. adj. One afflicted with hemiplegia. 2. s. f. A wife.

اردهگ urdhag ऊर्द्धग S̱. s. m. A disease occasioned by the mounting of wind upwards.

اشردها अश्रद्धा अ and श्रद्धा Desire a-shrad- dhā S. s. f. Aversion, disgust, loathing, contempt.

افسرده afsurda P adj. Frozen, withered, faded, benummed; dejected, dispirited, lowspirited, melancholy. افسرده خاطر afsurdā-ḵẖāt̤ir, De- pressed in mind, dispirited. افسرده دل afsurda- dil, Faint-hearted, lowspirited, dejected.

افشرده afshurda P part. pass. (of افشردن) Pressed, squeezed out, filtered.

انتردهیان antardhyān अन्तर्द्धान S̱. s. Disap- pearance. انتردهیان هونا antardhyān honā, To vanish, disappear, be concealed.

اورده سانس ūrdh-sāṅs S̱. (ऊर्द्ध High, and श्वास Breath) s. m. Deep inspiration, gasp.

اورده ऊर्द्ध ūrddh S adj. High, on high, above. اورده باهو ऊर्द्धबाहु ūrddhabāhu, adj. With arms aloft or raised up (a posture of Jogīs).

اوردهپنڐ ūrdh-punḍ S̱. (ऊर्द्ध High, and पुंड् Mark or line made on the forehead with sandal, &c.)
